There hasn't been too much information about it, even on the internet. The best resource I could find will take you to Charles Bernstein's web site that describes experiments in and of poetry. Once you get there, under number "2" you will find several links to examples of and articles about homophonic translation.

Precisely because there have not been too many resources on the subject, and because I was drawn to and drowned in the idea of homophonic translation the minute I first read about it in Laurence Venuti's book on various translation theories, I decided to write my thesis about it. In this way, I wanted to gather all the theories I could find about homophonic translation, so that its broader definition, not just its fragments could be analyzed. I also wanted to pay homage to all the homophonic translators whom I write about in my thesis, for their open-mindedness to experimenting and enjoying the play with the language.
My thesis is still not perfectly formatted: especially the Chinese characters and the Greek letters are not displayed correctly. The Greek and the Chinese text, however, is discussed and analyzed, and the readers should, for the time being, forgive me the imperfections of technical nature.
