I have a GE Spacemaker microwave JVM1440WH04 that's about 4 years old. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed it ran a lot quieter than wonted, but because it was still heating I didn't pay much regard. A week later, it died on me mid-sequence. After about 30 minutes it came back up, and I was adept to use it again. I checked with GE, who told me to kill the course off and see if that persistent the imbroglio. It did not; I was periodically gifted to get longer than 2 minutes into a run, but not often. The last on one occasion I second-hand it (which was on the same day it initially died on me, after a few nuisance runs to aide recognize the puzzler), it died and did not power itself back up at all, even though I let it sit for era before I reset the ambit (yesterday). Now it is a high-flown clock over my extend. After researching on your put, I've concluded that the land-locked cooling fan is chance. If it is a comparatively easily understood fix and there's no imperil of me electrocuting myself on the capacitor, it's benefit the $70 part and an hour or so of my interval to fix it myself.
