Only bought a new (to me) house of ill repute that came with a Vortex Accubake insincere wall oven. First affair we did was run the self smooth which caused the oven to overheat. I came organized here and started reading about what a unexceptional riddle this is. I replaced the thermal commingle on the authority over panel and that got the exposition working. However, neither the top nor bottom oven will hot up up. The fans run and the lights all calling, but the ovens don't get hot.

I have a maytag wall oven mmw5530dab it wont turn on the bake broil #6#9 touch controls wont work the rest do?

From what i can see you could have a problem with the clock, or panel. If the problems started at diverse times then probably both. The panel or user interface would be why the 6 and 9 don't work. (Could also be a release connection) The other problem may be either a double hi limit cut out. (mounted in back of the control panel) or bad clock timer. First knock out the hi limit cut out. If that's OK then go for the clock.

It's a Maytag. There is NO gas get a whiff of when turned on.
It has a Electronic pilot light.

Sounds like you requisite a new thermocouple. If pilot is gas. Easy to install yourself. It's the little metal tube that sticks up into the helmsman light.

i have a maytag wall mount oven exactly a few years old doesnt work.one day we had a bad thunderstorm and all lights went out then we noticed the electronic notwithstanding clock went out.so we tried to turn it on and nothing.no power nothing.has anyone had this problem and can someone let slip me whats wrong with it before i go to a service repair person.

Have you checked the wave for the oven? (At your main electrical panel.)

If that's not it, it sounds like the lightning and power outage may have caused a power comber that damaged the control for the oven. You could try turning off the breaker for a while, then turning it back on to see if the oven resets itself.

Stop you owner's manual. There may be a reset procedure for the oven control. Also, the oven itself may have fuses that you could curb.
