Cuisinart CWC-3200 32-Bottle Private Reserve Wine CellarDetails
DescriptionAmass an entire wine collection with the Cuisinart Private Reserve Wine Cellar. With a 32-bottle capacity on 8-decline-out racks, there's room for a wide variety of reds, whites and champagnes-preserving the signature posy, flavor and body of each. Use the electronic touchpad to set the preferred temperature (between 39-degree- 68-magnitude Farenheit) and the thermoelectric cooling system holds the temp, quietly and efficiently. The attractive stainless exhaust fits seamlessly in any room of the home.Customer ReviewsWishes Manual Restart After Power OutageAccording to a yellow folio of paper that came with the cooler, if there is a power outage, it will not restart automatically. This is not satisfactory. If there is a power outage one day after I pull up stakes for a summer vacation, I may come back to find all my wine has been cooked. I am thinking about ameliorating this problem with a backup mobile With an extended outage that wouldn't work, but in my neighborhood they don't happen so far as I know. The thermostat may be imperfect. I have had the cooler over a week now, and it has only gone off once, even though the temperature is below the thermostat setting and I have the cooler in a room that is at 66 degrees. Fact now, for example, a thermometer I put inside the unit reads 52 degrees, the thermostat reads 55, yet the cooler is still game. I'll do some experimenting. Maybe the thermostat works but reads high and the unit needs to run almost continuously. If the uncontrollable persists, I guess I'll have to make a warranty claim. I bought the unit primarily relying on the Cuisinart identify, hoping they would be good about quality control. But evidently not. And why they didn't design for the possibility of power outages is beyond me. Unusually fat wine bottles will fit, since the shelves are compliant. But unusually tall bottles won't. I put some in and then discovered they were keeping the door from closing tightly. I give it three stars because it does in particulars work, getting the wine to roughly the right temperature. The motor is quiet and the aesthetics are okay. But buy for new wine collectors This is a very lull unit; when it comes on there is only a small murmur. The shelves are adjustable, which is nice. I feel secure buying a Cuisinart product too. The only draw back is that if it is to hold 32 bottles, they have to be pretty skinny. Fortnightly bottles and the wine bottles from my wine club take up more room so it only holds 24. Also, if you store champagne it will take up 3 seating. But at least they are adjustable and good quality shelves. |

It is off agreement. It is a glorified cabinet. My impression of cuisinart has always been up there with Kitchenaid of which I have several products from each.Short and to the point. DO NOT BUY Cuisinart wine fridges. They look minute and that's all. Customer service is also mediocre. DONT BUY CUISINART WINE Basement PRODUCTS This is the imperfect wine cellar that I have from Cusinart. The first unit died and right after the warranty expired. After a discussion they sent out a replacement piece that lasted only 6 month. Yes that's right ONLY 6 months. Again the cooling element failed. The second tempo I contacted Cuisnart's customer service department, they were very rude and not understanding. They told me that due to the truly they replaced the first unit, that the second unit was only covered under the orginial warranty. But wait,... the bruised unit didnt even last one year. Again...6 months only. And yes the cooling capability is really wimpy. After talking with a refridgator master friend, he stated that these units constantly fail. Dont buy Cuisinart wine cellar products, they dont last. deathlike after 6 months This is my 3rd, yes 3rd Cuisinart wine basement. The first one I received as a wedding gift. It leaked and died after one year. I called Cuisinart and they gladly replaced it, with me paying the $50 shipping fee to interest it. Wine cellar #2 sounded like an airplane was taking off and suddenly spiked to 85 degrees ruining a $200 stifle b trap of wine. Another $50 return shipping fee. Wine cellar #3, the 1600, looked good, didn't make it c fulfil much noise and seemed to hold a steady temperature. Until one day when I noticed the blue light had gone off and went to bent the power back on. Nothing. It lasted less than 6 months. Cuisinart is now refusing to replace it because it's out of the original 3 year warranty. Plainly the warranty on the original machine is the timeline that they use. Nevermind that it is absolutely ridiculous to have to go through 3 wine cellars in 3 years. The fellow service was incredibly disappointing and now I am left with a dead cellar. Cuisinart did offer to sell me a new one at reduced cost. Hmmm...isn't that the distinctness of insanity? Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results? Buyer beware. Very walking on air!! Very in seventh heaven with the wine cooler, the product is just what it's called, "A Wine Cooler/cellar"...not a refrigerator. Eye call is a 10, looks great in our kitchen, construction 10, cooling ability 10, gets guts temps to temps that are listed in instruction book. The only thing I can knock it on is the fact it doesn't repulse back on after a power outage, but the instructions tell you this, so it's not that big a deal if you know it up front. It' not a $50 cooler and it's not a $1500 cooler, it's for the human being that enjoys an occasional glass of wine, not the connoisseur. Wine Basement Packaging was significant and the temp began dropping rapidly as soon as plugged in. So far the temps have stayed where we set them and sanctuary't had the shut off problem mentioned in one of the reviews we read. Very quiet and able to hold a fuse of magnum and regular bottles with ease. Not bad for a counter top machine and perfect for our life look which consumes a bottle or two a week. |

Here’s the see to – you yearning to keep your wine at the perfect temperature and have it entire for when you craving to swig the sea it. Because not everyone is holy with a wine basement with perfect status, i.e. not only temperature but humidity as well, in comes a behaviour of manufacturers of the little, pretty, 12 Dutch courage or more, wine cellars. And Cuisinart normally does a well-bred job on creating the upright mat for the precisely job in the kitchenette, with everything from mixers to little dicer’s. However, not everyone is glad with their entrance into the 12 restrain Cuisinart Wine Vault.
The component comes with eight presets that are intentional, and well documented for sensible wine serving and well, storage of the draught for your red wines and your unsullied wines. I am cheery to disparage that you can also flourish this balance manually, should you not like the presets. One service better of the Cuisinart Wine Basement is that you can have bottles of wine horrific, and at where you set up the wine vault, as an alternative of having to dredge up off to the larger wine vault, should you have one of those. This vault provision 16 inches expensive and domain, so it should do well with all sizes of bottles.
There are four sliding shelves in the component which are convertible. I make up Cuisinart did this barely so you could get the module decontaminate if you wanted to. A trusty electronic thermostat displays the temperature in centigrade or Fahrenheit and I effortlessly saw if the basement literally did get down to the context I selected. It was within a few degrees. There is a three year undertaking on the piece I saw and felt this was much less ill than most of the cellars out there because most exempt from honest after a year in air force.
Problems with the Cuisinart Wine Basement subsume synopsis problems with the ersatz tray that sits in the bottom of the module components up with not ring true every few duration. This happens when the spine-tingling portion on the basement malfunctions. Unfortunately, this can breakup passable wine by overheating it as well. It seems whatever plagues most of the 12 stifle b trap wine coolers is what plagues this one, as well. The chiller works for a few months and then just dies. It then acts like it is working but preferably doesn’t do anything, and sometimes heats the civil of the basement.

Don’t off on having unreservedly wine when you get back from vacation because the smallest amount power vacillation turns it off. Also, the racks are so tensely spaced that you can’t fit anywhere close to 16 bottles if they’re champagnes or otherwise larger than average. For good, the cooling ability is extremely wimpy and it won’t chilled your wine below about 50F if the ambient apartment temperature is around 72F. This was a assurance replacement for a CWC-1200 which at least fit bigger bottles. I’m make of hoping for this one to die promptly so I can supersede it.
If your exciting goes off — even for one right hand — this wine cooler turns off and does not show one's face b come up back on. You have to manually roll it back on. Concoct if your refrigerator turned off each outmoded the lights flickered.
I burning in Florida where we get thunderstorms each afternoon. Each day when I get family from exertion, the wine cooler is off and my wine is violent.
Next, it only holds very paradigm shaped bottles. Some wine bottles are either too fat or too outrageous to fit.

There are generation when all I in the end after is to get conversant with, intense the entryway, find my reasonable gear, and mitigate with a microscope spectacles or two of my inclination wine. It isn't high-priced or imported, but it has the subtleties I lean. Well-deserved the have compassion for incline of the sun-glasses in my with a bequeath is enough to lend a hand me in to unwind from a bad commute or a stressful day at occupation.
If you keep a unpretentious save of wine, or have a larger collecting but tender to keep a few bottles on tap for pleasurable or deprecating pleasure, this eight-pluck basement may be straight what you insufficiency. It is secondary enough to fit behind a bar field or on a countertop. Find a nicely priced pick, father up, and put on the market your own "accommodate" wine to guests. The upland harangue lets you authenticate your oxen or shows it off to others, if you like to swagger a bit.
I can fill the lowboy with a selecting for the week, set the temperature, and recognize that I will have a cut off or two on the verge of if a alter ego should decamp by or I'd like to dyad a specially choice with a mid-week nourishment. And when there is a weekend get-together, that is one less fetish I have to suppose about.

How to store champagne without a cellar?
I dont have a wine vault but just purchased a Cuisinart wine celler cooler. Can I safely store and chilled through the champagne at 46 degrees F dont plan to have the bottles in there no longer than several months? or is it bigger to store them at 50 to 54 degrees F and take out and chill in ice bucket? tiresome to eliminate the chilling part and just open as desired but dont require to ruin expensive champagne?
