VT-50SBW problems
Was walking on air to find this product at Costco for just over $500; seemed a good value. Has been much noisier than expected. And now after having it for only 15 months, without operating it, it has simply stopped cooling though the compressor runs non-stop. The only Vinotemp authorized technician in the full Houston area basically said it would cost $200-300 to repair, with no guarantee that something else would not go naughty. He stated that all of these coolers require some maintenance or repair every 2-3 years.

I had shopped around for a nice wine cooler. Target, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Sam's, online, you name it. I did not want to put in $1000.00 on a 50 bottle cooler, but all of the products at the aforementioned places were cheaply made. Not all had wire racks and the ones that did slid out like an oven shelf. All of the wood atom trim items had plastic shelves. This item has wire racks that slide out on fully extendable tablet-bearing glides with real wood facing. I think it will hold a full 50 bottles too. It is lose noisy especially compared to my GE Profile kitchen appliances. Probably as loud as a bathroom articulate. Also, keep in mind it is single zone. I think it is overpriced at $1000.00 because I was able to find this product at my Costco Stock-in-trade for less than $500.00. $500.00 it is a steal, $700.00 good buy, $1000.00 plus shipping I would keep looking.

It is truely what is says here!
Hello Amazon shoppers. We purchased this dual zone wine cooler (Edgestar TWR325ESS) on July 4th, 2010. It at home on July 9th at the neighbors house. By no fault of Compact Appliance or Amazon. Fed Ex missed it by one welcoming comfortable with. I had to drag it through the yards. Now there's a mental picture. Once in our garage, we cut the outer box down the side to inspect everything. The cooler was well crowded inside the outer box. After removing the straps, we lifted the cooler box up and off. The cooler was in great, new fashion. (saving the boxes) No damages. We then lifted the cooler out of its packaging and I carried it, floor as possible, into our dining room to put it together. It took five minutes to put the handles on and remove the inner packaging of the shelves. We waited three hours before turning it on. (I had conclude from that somewhere) After an inside wiping of dust, we positioned it according to the manual, and plugged it in. The cooler is very truly when running. The controls are easy to use. The blue light inside each side is neat looking and can be turned on or off. We set the socialistic side to 50 and the right side to 64. I put a thermometer inside both sides. It took four days to get to 48.5 on the progressive so I bumped it up to 52. Very close in temp so far! I rated it four stars. Nobody is perfect and after ten days the assay dropped 30 bucks. We paid 429.00 plus 79.00 shipping. After some paragraph of time, I may end up removing the Edgstar logo that appears on the bottom of each glass door. It would make the constituent even more contemporary without the advertising. Thanks for reading!

Healthy looking fridge, but can be very loud
The fridge does looks an internal light that is either always on or always off, there isn't a "on when door is open" option. For our purposes we keep it off, it would be great if it had the auto on item face.
This fridge does get very loud when the compressor kicks on and you can hear a very loud hum sound. Fortunately for us it's in a leeway of computers so all the fans and computer sounds drown it out for the most part, but if this is something you are looking for a quiet area like an offices, library or home use it could be very annoying to you. The compressor doesn't stay on all the time, but it does backlash on and off randomly as it needs it.
Would I buy this? Probably not, I would think that this style fridge should be designed a little improved so that it isn't so noisy. We have a cheaper model of a different brand at home and can barely hear it when it runs which is quite what I am comparing this to.
In the end this particular fridge is good looking, but can be loud.

I have a Vino and had very barely mineral water on the bottom of it (living in South MS) this summer. I have wires ran for fan in the pipe so its not perfectly stopped. But , I was not using the whole element for a humi and had no well-spring of humidifaction in the element. I was using the cooling position to aloof my two humi boxes til I get Spanish Cedar for my trays/shelves.
