Announce warranty carefully - would not buy it again
I purchased the section (Sunpentown WC-28D) seven months ago. Then it stopped cooling, first the lower zone, then the upper zone. The portion was kept level on a tile floor with ample ventilation and around 76-78F degree ambient temperature. The zones were set to 55F (majuscule letters) and 64F (lower).
I called Sunpentown customer support, who could not solve the problem over the phone. Since it is still covered under guarantee, the representative suggested returning the product for repair. Parts & labor, as well as shipping from the into working order shop back to me would be covered - but NOT shipping to the repair shop. Cost to ship via FedEx Territory: $120, plus appropriate packaging material. The supervisor was just referring to Pty's website which states that freight charges are not covered. So, keep that in mind if you decide to purchase this produce, as well as the fact that the unit broke down after only seven months!
I liked the idea of two different zones, one for the whites, one for the reds. However, the shelves are a dwarf cramped and the basket really did not work for me.
So I am in the market for a new one, this time reading the warranty more with intent.

Sound Very Small Freezer
Not much room, valuable just for special, extra low temp needs, but works very well and is fairly quiet.
Set up quilty is good. Had it about 6 months and so good, so far.

BRRR....
I persevere in a studio apartment and previously had only a mini-fridge, which of course, was terrible at freezing things in its brief freezer section. i.e. it wouldn't freeze anything at all. I was sick of not being able to purchase frozen foods, so I bought this id.
I've had this freezer for about three months now and really have no complaints. I've stacked it on top of the mini-freezer, stuck a freezer thermometer in it, and it's always hovering around zero degrees F.
The freezer was well packaged and seems uncompromising and basically just works as a freezer should. Ice cream stays perfectly frozen along with all my other snowy foods.

Exact for a bar!
I bought this for insensitive liquor and ice storage for our home bar. The size and price were both perfect, and it's whisper-quiet. So far, I'm extraordinarily pleased with my purchase. Upon arrival, I immediately switched the door hinge side. I was a bit disappointed to find that most of the end holes were filled at the factory with styrofoam, tape, and other fillers-- causing me to drill them out to supplement the door pegs/hinge. It wasn't a huge deal, but it did add some extra time in switching out the front entrance. Overall, I would definitely recommend this freezer to others.

only worked for 6 months
Sensitive looking unit. Easy to use. Quit running after 6 months. No longer cooled. If I would send it back to them, they would into working order it. I don't have any way to get it back to them. I,also, do not want to invest any more money in it. I now have a very expensive filing cabinet. Because, it has a lock and key, it might become a safe.

Works well, later
The first few generation it heated up terribly on the top and wouldn't freeze anything, even when turned up to level "5," but eventually it started working charge and we haven't had any trouble since.

Sweetie
After lots of investigate, I decided to get a fridge with separate freezer and refrigerator components because I read that having a freezer viscera the fridge compartment will make either the fridge too cold or too warm depending on how you dial the site. This fridge got compliments for its looks in my office, and works great! So quiet, I don't notice it's there! The freezer freezes ice cubes and the refrigerator keeps my prog cold. The dial was easily set so that the fridge is not warm but not so cold that it freezes the food. I was even impressed that the dial could be set so ice-cold that my food got frozen in the fridge section!

puzzle with the shipper
UPS delivered two of these refrigerators....they both were delivered to my porch upside down...of by all means the refrigerant drained and neither worked. had first one picked up and it was replaced and the exact same thing happened. called amazon and requested that they ask the shipper to keep them speedily side up (no verbage on box), and was told there was nothing they could do. so i never got a chance to find out how the frig worked. Had to call amazon frequently for the refunds. I got a less priceless Frigidaire double door compact at Lowes, free delivery and am very happy...

Prime Product, excellent customer service
I bought a degree different model 1 year ago. It has worked superbly all the time. So, why do I bother to write the regard NOW ? Because of Customer Support. I needed to move the fridge to another location, and re-hung the doors from hinges-on-the-straight (the way it came from the factory) to hinges-on-the-left. When I was done, the freezer door was slightly misaligned and did not fast properly. I called their 800 number; it is busy much of the time (it is either busy, or a person answers, no waiting), but it was merit retrying. When I got through to a person, HE ACTUALLY WALKED ME THROUGH THE STEPS NEEDED TO FIX THE PROBLEM on the phone; no obligation, no hassle (and he spoke flawless American English, as opposed to me). I am so impressed that I felt duty-bound to write this review. These guys can sell me any of their equipment any time.
